Graham Bradley
Originally from Blackpool in England (the place where the residents of Coronation Street go on holiday), Graham graduated from the University of Manchester with an honours degree in Chemistry and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education. In addition to his studies, as a keen football fan, he would regularly watch the magic of George Best (with enormous envy).
After graduating, he moved to London where he taught maths to unruly high school students in Tottenham. Some would have you believe that this was purely to be near the magnificent Spurs.
After leaving teaching, Graham lived in Heidelberg, Germany for a short time, but his German is rather rusty these days. Having worked in the car hire business for some time, he eventually started his own business in London, which he sold for a healthy profit, before moving to New Zealand with his wife Susan in 1996.
In New Zealand, he worked as an Investment Advisor for Westpac before leaving to join the Barbican team. His experience in teaching, owning his own business and also working for a large corporate have given him valuable insight in helping students through the various courses.
Graham is a strong believer in ongoing personal and professional development. Since living in New Zealand, he has completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies with Massey University, the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) programme through the CFA Institute, and a National Certificate in Adult Education and Training.
Outside class these days, Graham spends a lot of his time on spreadsheets devising strategies for stockmarket trading (and he wonders why he’s sometimes regarded as a nerd!) and takes his dog for regular walks. He loves travelling, skiing, football, and golf. He would be much happier if Spurs could win more trophies, and his rounds of golf were spent more on the fairways and less in the trees.
